GeoTech Pro PCS 155 LE in short:

GeoTech Pro PCS 155 LE chipper shredder or garden shredder was specifically designed to crush large and average-sized branches and fronds and it produces 5-6 times less waste material. It is best suited for forest and flowerbed maintenance Companies that need to remove and crush big and medium size green material from the ground. Moreover, it is provided with straight tongue coupler, to transport the machine with any vehicle, and latest CE compliant electric safety features.

Strong points:

– Sturdy machine thanks to its long-lasting durability rotor system;

– Cutting diameter is bigger than other chipper shredders: 90 mm twins (not dry) while the best competitors have 80 mm;

– High performance. It is suitable for habitual intensive use even crushing big diameter green branches;

– Higher output capacity compared to standard internal combustion chipper shredders with rotor with blades and rear shredding hammers (max output capacity up to 4/6 m/ch).

Weaknesses:
this machine discharges bigger wood chips than chipper shredders with hammers. It discharges wood chips 4-5 cm lengths. It is not suitable to crush leaves or small size green material.

This machine is also suitable for shredding palm fronds.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and chipper, it is not suited for the shredding of grass, leaves, pine needles, etc.… (It is made to shred branches, but it can grind the leaves, needles and certain other vegetation may be attached to them)

Main user requirements for all the shredders on the market:
– The shredder must grind recently cut branches from the tree, not dried (they would limit the shredding capacity and lead to a rapid deterioration of the blade);
– The branches must be preferably long-limbed, smooth and not lumpy (otherwise the cutting diameter is reduced);
– The diameter of said cut is the maximum, so it is advised not to try and shred larger branches. In that case it would be preferable to evaluate the purchase of a shredder with a larger cutting diameter;
– The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of the wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwoods and can reduce the cutting ability of the wood chipper)
