The 7×50 meter thorn-proof netting roll, also known as Pugliese net or shaker-type net, is now a solution for olive harvesting professionals, replacing traditional square nets with a central slit.

Its woven fabric, free of holes, is designed not to get caught on grass, twigs, stones, or other obstacles found under olive trees, which gives it the name “thorn-proof”. This design makes it suitable for harvesting operations in difficult conditions, reducing inconveniences caused by getting trapped in thorns or debris.

In terms of durability, this net stands out from other models available on the market, most of which have a weight of 85 g/m² or 90 g/m².

The quality of the thread used in its construction gives the net tear resistance. Another important aspect is the knotting technique of the threads: instead of being braided, the threads are tied with small knots. This prevents fraying even if a single thread breaks, avoiding the formation of large holes, a common defect in other types of nets.

The net can be easily cut to obtain sections of the desired length. Some examples of sections that can be obtained from a 50-meter roll include:
