Anti-thorn sheet roll Anti-tear net for olive harvesting 4 x 50 metres (mesh nets) 95 g/sqm

The 4×50 meter thorn-proof netting roll, also known as Pugliese net or shaker-type net, is now a tool for professional olive harvesting. This net has gradually replaced the old square nets with a central slit, offering a significant time-saving compared to traditional solutions.

Made with a finely woven fabric and free of holes, the net is designed to avoid getting caught on grass, twigs, stones, or any other obstacles under olive trees. This makes it suitable for operating in difficult environments, from which it gets the name “thorn-proof.”

Its strength distinguishes it from other nets on the market, many of which have a lower weight, usually 85 g/m² or 90 g/m². The quality of the thread used in its manufacture makes it tear-resistant. An additional advantage is that the threads are not simply braided but tied with small knots. This prevents the net from fraying if a single thread breaks, avoiding the formation of large holes over time.

Additionally, the net can be easily cut to obtain sections of the desired length. Some examples of sections that can be obtained from a 50-meter roll include:
