The tear-resistant net roll for olive harvesting, commonly called Pugliese, anti-spike, or shaker type, is equipment designed for olive industry professionals. It has replaced traditional square nets with a central split, offering significant time savings compared to previous solutions.

The fabric, finely woven and without holes, ensures that the net does not get tangled in grass, twigs, stones, or other obstacles under the olive trees, giving it the name “anti-spike.”

The quality of the thread used in its production gives it superior tear resistance, placing it above most nets available on the market, which usually have a weight of 85g/m² or 90g/m².

Another important feature is the specific construction of the threads, which are not simply woven but tied with small knots. This design allows the net to resist fraying, even in the event of a thread breaking, thus avoiding the formation of large holes, a common defect in traditional nets.

Additionally, the net can be cut to obtain sections of the desired length. Examples of sections that can be obtained from a 50-meter roll include:

  • 2 sections of 25 meters
  • 3 sections of 16.6 meters
  • 4 sections of 12.5 meters
