The GeoTech MCT 550 cultivator stands out for its ability to reverse the rotation direction of the tines, thus adapting to different types of soil. This feature allows you to choose whether to have the tines rotate forward, following the wheels’ direction, or in the opposite direction.

The reverse rotation of the tines is ideal for working on hard, compacted soils, improving the machine’s stability and increasing the working depth. On the other hand, forward rotation is recommended for softer soils. The tines, equipped with sharp blades on both sides, can be used in both directions.

The GeoTech MCT 550 is equipped with a Rato DJ170F engine of 212 cc (7.0 HP) and comes standard with a 60 cm tine, consisting of 4 elements: two outer ones with 4 tines each and two inner ones with 8 tines, totaling 12 tines. A pivoting wheel is also included, making it easier to move the machine.

This cultivator is perfect for working on soft, tilled soil, like in vegetable gardens, where it can finely crumble the soil.

However, for hard, rocky, or sloped terrain, it is recommended to use a tiller, which is better suited to these conditions.
