The 83 cm sickle bar attachment (provided on standard kit) is a mulching bar with standard single-blade action. A mulching blade is particularly effective thanks to the blade shape and sharpness. Achieving single-blade action requires a 2-blade cutter bar (upper and lower). The transmission system engages the upper blade through an oscillating motion, while the lower blade is fixed. This system allows chopping the grass effectively thanks to the position of the fixed lower blade that acts like a counter-blade.
Suitable for chopping very tall and thick weeds. The mown grass can be used as food for livestock.
The machine is equipped with a reverse clutch system, protecting the operator from possible accidents.
