The GeoTech Pro BMS 155 LE tracked wood chipper is a machine designed for shredding branches and logs of medium and large diameter, reducing the volume of plant waste by up to six times.

The wood chipper is mounted on a tracked engine unit, designed to accommodate the tilting hopper module included. This configuration allows the wood chipper to be transformed into a tracked carrier, facilitating the transport of the shredded material or loads up to 300 kg. Thanks to this versatility, the machine is suitable for both private use, for those needing a mobile and multifunctional tool, and for forestry companies and public green space operators who need to remove and shred biodegradable waste quickly.

Like all wood chippers, it is not suitable for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, or other small green material, although it can process vegetal residues attached to the branches. For the best performance, it is recommended to use fresh branches, avoiding dry wood, which may reduce shredding efficiency and accelerate blade wear.

The branches should have a longilinear and regular shape, without excessive knots, to ensure optimal processing. The maximum cutting diameter declared represents a limit value and not the standard usage, so for higher needs, it is advisable to consider a model with greater cutting capacity.

Additionally, the shredding capacity may vary depending on the wood hardness, with species such as oak, olive, plum, and peach potentially affecting the machine’s performance.
